Tulsa Tough is back on this weekend after taking a year hiatus due to the pandemic. Hundreds of cyclists will be competing for big prizes.

The first race started at 5 p.m. Friday in the Blue Dome District of downtown Tulsa. Organizers expect thousands of spectators in addition to the hundreds of competitors.

If you come out this weekend, expect some road closures along with lots of live music and vendors. People News On 6 spoke with are excited to be back at the annual event after it was canceled last year due to COVID-19.

Cyclists from around the country have come here to compete.

On Saturday, the race will move to the arts district and then on Sunday to Cry Baby Hill on Riverside.
