Sunday is the last day of the Mid-America Ford and Shelby Nationals Car Show in Tulsa and the event has a special meaning for Father's Day.
Dozens of Shelby and Ford cars will be on display from the 1969 Mustang to the new Ford Bronco and 2021 Mustang Mach One.
Founder Jim Wick says he's glad more people can show up this year after 2020's event was restricted due to the pandemic. Wick says the car show has been a recurring Father's Day tradition since it started 47 years ago.
"You know if dad is a car guy, he can sort of make that his day and if the other family members are interested, then it really makes for a fun day," said Wicks.
The car show is at the Southern Hills Mariott at 71st and Lewis. Registration started Sunday morning and will go until noon. The event begins at 8 a.m.
