Bixby Green Corn Festival Kicks Off

The Bixby Green Corn Festival is back and events kick off on Thursday.

The Bixby Optimist Club is bringing in live music this weekend and many events.

On Thursday, the carnival will return. There will be free roasting ears, while they last, starting at 7:30 p.m. and then live gospel music.

On Friday afternoon, there will be a talent show and two live bands.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their frogs and turtles for the races which will begin on Saturday morning. A parade, corn hole tournament, bingo and old-fashioned games are also scheduled to take place on Saturday.
