Tulsa Man Pleads Guilty To Child Neglect After Children Found Dead In Hot Car

A Tulsa father has pleaded guilty in federal court to child neglect charges after his children were found dead in a hot car last summer.

Dustin Dennis admitted that after he fell asleep, his four-year-old daughter and three-year-old son climbed into his truck and got locked inside and eventually died from the extreme heat.

The U.S. Attorney's Office is asking for Dennis to serve three to six years in prison when he is sentenced in November.
