The Oklahoma Department of Public Safety is launching a megacenter in Tulsa to help with the backlog of appointments at tag agencies.
This megacenter will open at 6:30 a.m. on Monday in the Kensington Business Center near 71st and Lewis.
The megacenter is opening thanks to a partnership between DPS and Governor Stitt's office.

The Governor said earlier in the summer that the long wait times and lack of appointments to get a license across the state are unacceptable and the mega centers in Oklahoma City and here in Tulsa are the solution.
The center will be open Monday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and will remain open through January 7th.
OKDPS said the center will process Real ID applications.
Employees can also process out-of-state transfers, like if you move from another state and need to get an Oklahoma license.
The center will also issue learner permits and first-time state I-D cards. But if you need an initial driver's license, that will still need to happen at a DPS office.
