Rooster Days, a 90-year tradition, is back in Broken Arrow over the Labor Day weekend for the first time in two years. The event was canceled in 2020 and pushed back to September because of COVID-19.

Organizers said there will be hand sanitizing stations on site and masks available to anyone who wants one. Most of the event will take place outdoors, which will make distancing easier.

About 100 vendors will be on-site, including the carnival and food trucks. There will also be live entertainment on Friday and Saturday.

“So many people have incredible memories of what Rooster Days is to them, what it’s been throughout the years,” said Jennifer Conway, President of the Broken Arrow Chamber of Commerce. “We’re excited we can still have it this year.”

Rooster Days will be going on Thursday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Friday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
