UPDATE (9:54 a.m.): Oklahoma City police said it has canceled an Amber Alert for a missing 3-month-old.

News 9's Jennifer Pierce confirmed that Leyla Rivera was found safe in Midwest City. Rivera's mother, Midaysia Highwalker, was also found in Midwest City.

Oklahoma City police issued an Amber Alert for a missing newborn Thursday morning.

Authorities said 3-month-old Leyla Rivera was taken by her mother, 20-year-old Midaysia Highwalker, around 2:30 a.m. Thursday.

Police said Rivera was last seen near the intersection of Southwest 44th Street and South Santa Fe Avenue wearing a yellow outfit with white daisies.

No clothing description for Highwalker or vehicle description is available at this time.
