Oklahoma DOC Locks Down All Facilities Statewide After Multiple Incidents

The Oklahoma Department of Corrections ordered a lockdown of all its facilities statewide Friday afternoon.

The director Scott Crow said it was in response to incidents at six facilities that are under investigation, but appear to be gang related.

ODOC said some inmates had serious but non-fatal injuries as a result of the incidents.

The incidents happened at the Jim E. Hamilton Correctional Center, Mack Alford Correctional Center, John H. Lilley Correctional Center, Lexington Assessment and Reception Center, Dick Conner Correctional Center, and Davis Correctional Facility.

All visitation has been paused during the lockdown.
