Oklahoma Center For Poison And Drug Information Provides Update On Ivermectin Calls In August

The Oklahoma Center for Poison and Drug Information received 12 ivermectin-related calls last month.

The center's director said there were 13 patients, which is more than normal for the drug used on large animals.

We're told some people are buying it at feed stores and using it to treat COVID-19.

The Food and Drug Administration and the drug's manufacturer have issued warnings against doing that.
