A Tulsa lawmaker introduced a bill that would require public schools to observe a minute of silence every year on the anniversaries of the September 11, 2001 attacks and the Oklahoma City bombing.

Republican Sheila Dills said there are inconsistencies in how the anniversaries are recognized now in schools.
