Tulsa Transit says it will begin requiring all riders to wear a mask on its buses unless they provide an exemption form.

In a release, Tulsa Transit says riders will need to provide medical documentation to ride without a mask and complete a Mask Exemption Request Form. Tulsa Transit officials provided the following steps to apply for an exemption form.

1. Obtain a Mask Exemption Request Form from the DAS attendant, print it from our website (tulsatransit.org), or contact the Call Center to have one mailed to you.

2. Take the form to your medical provider to verify the medical exemption.

3. Submit any physical forms to the DAS attendant or via mail and digital forms scanned and emailed to info@tulsatransit.org.

4. Receive an official approval letter by mail from Tulsa Transit, which can be shown to the driver upon request for service.

Riders without masks must provide the approval letter to their driver upon each boarding; failure to comply may result in denial of service.
