TPD Officers Identify, Arrest Suspects In Animal Cruelty Incident

UPDATE (10:23 p.m., Oct. 9, 2021): Tulsa police said Saturday that its officers arrested two men involved in an animal cruelty incident earlier this week.

Authorities identified the men as Kevon Hicks and Litrayle Haynes. They were arrested on animal cruelty warrants, according to TPD.

Haynes agreed to turn himself in while Hicks surrendered to authorities without incident.

Tulsa Police are investigating a case of animal abuse caught on camera.

Video from a doorbell camera near 61st and Peoria shows a man repeatedly hitting and kicking a leashed dog. Tulsa Police say they believe they know who the man in the video is, and are working on finding him. The Oklahoma Alliance for Animals is offering a $2,000 reward for any information that leads to an arrest.
