News On 6 Storm Tracker Von Castor was following the storm around 10:45 p.m. and captured the tornado-like weather live on air as it hurled debris and damaged the Coweta High School building. According to Coweta Police Chief Mike Bell, the storm ripped through a portion of town starting at Coweta Heritage Intermediate Grade Center and went towards Coweta High School before hitting a gas station near East Highway 51 and South 305th East Avenue.

Police say the Coweta Water-Sewer Department is without power at this time as a result of the storm. It is currently unclear how the outage will impact city services.
