Classes are canceled for the rest of the week at Coweta Public Schools as they clean up after a possible tornado ripped through the town last night.
It looks like the first notable damage from Sunday night's storm started near 158th street and 279th East Avenue. From there, it quickly reached the Mission Intermediate Grade Center where high winds ripped off air conditioning units from the roof and onto the parking lot.
Just beyond that, the storm tore apart the fence surrounding the baseball field, leaving debris scattered across the field. Other debris was swept in the dugout. The high school building didn't look to have any major damage, but its parking lot was being used as a staging area for the several power crews that were working to restore power in the area.
