2 Oklahomans To Be Added To Cultural Icons List

U.S. Poet Laureate Joy Harjo and award-winning actress and singer Kristin Chenoweth will be added to the Oklahoma Cultural icons list. The two artists will be added during the 2021 Oklahoma Governor's Arts Awards at the Capitol.

TULSA, Oklahoma -

U.S. Poet Laureate Joy Harjo and award-winning actress and singer Kristin Chenoweth will be added to the Oklahoma Cultural icons list.

The two artists will be added during the 2021 Oklahoma Governor's Arts Awards at the Capitol.

Harjo will be designated as the 14th Oklahoma Cultural Treasure during the event.

Chenoweth will be designated as the seventh Oklahoma Cultural Ambassador.

The ceremony is on November 9th this year.
