Loved ones held a candlelight vigil for a 27-year-old Sapulpa woman who was killed in August.
Family and friends of Alyssa Edlund gathered at Veterans Park in Jenks to remember her. They say Alyssa was a kind person who loved her family and friends and who had a passion for the outdoors.
"That was very very important to us. To hunt, and camp and fish. Tomorrow is the opening day of muzzleloader season, and I'm gonna be without her. It's gonna be a tough morning. It's gonna be a tough day tomorrow," said Alyssa's Father Bobby Edlund
Police say Alyssa was shot and killed in Haskell. No arrests have been made in the case. If you have information on the shooting you are asked to call CrimeStoppers
