Broken Arrow Police have identified the deceased suspect in the shooting of Officer Caleb Sherman.
Police have identified the suspected shooter as 31-year-old Corey Gene Batt. Batt was found dead near the scene of the traffic stop on Saturday morning.
According to police, the investigation is ongoing, but police believe Batt died from self-inflicted wounds.

A Broken Arrow police officer was shot during a traffic stop early Saturday morning.
The officer was identified as Caleb Sherman, who is a five-year veteran of the department.
The incident happened just before 3 a.m. near the intersection of County Line Road and East Kenosha Street.
Authorities said once the vehicle was stopped, two of the vehicle's occupants fled the vehicle while the remaining occupant pulled out a gun.
Police said Sherman and the suspect exchanged gunfire. Sherman was wounded in the leg while the suspect fled to a wooded area.
Sherman was transported to a local hospital for treatment where he was treated and released.
Around two hours later, Broken Arrow police said the suspected shooter was found dead near the scene of the traffic stop.
Detectives said they are looking for two additional people who were in the vehicle during its initial pursuit.
