It's World Diabetes Day and the Oklahoma Blood Institute (OBI) offered free blood sugar testing at a special blood drive.
The event was at Guthrie Green Sunday afternoon.
The free hemoglobin A1C testing aims to help donors monitor their risk for diabetes.
Tulsa Mayor G.T. Bynum wrote a proclamation for diabetes awareness.
Former Chairman of the American Diabetes Association, Doug Dodd, read the proclamation.
The OBI said it will share the public health data it collected during this hemoglobin testing at a later date.
