Silver Dollar City had to be evacuated after a fire forced the park to shut down Thursday afternoon. Folks in Branson, Missouri could see black smoke from a good distance away.

Silver Dollar City had to be evacuated after a fire forced the park to shut down Thursday afternoon.

Folks in Branson, Missouri could see black smoke from a good distance away.

No one was hurt, but there is damage to three different buildings.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

The park said it will re-open on Friday.
