An Oklahoma City-based company turned Giving Tuesday into a full giving week with multiple donations to foster kids and organizations that support them.
Paycom donated $25,000 to the National Foster Parent Association and $25,000 to Promise House on Wednesday. The National Foster Parent Association (NFPA) is a nonprofit organization that promotes and supports foster families through a variety of services, including networking, education and advocacy. Since 1984, Promise House has had an open door to youth in crisis across North Texas. In 2021, 387 youth spent 15,183 nights at Promise House. In addition, Promise House served more than 40,000 meals to hungry youths and facilitated more than 2,154 hours of trauma-informed counseling sessions.
Earlier in the week, Paycom gave $75,000 to The Anna's House Foundation, an Oklahoma organization that helps find homes for children in state custody. The company's employees also participated in a toy drive that resulted in 600 holiday gifts for Oklahoma kids.
"It’s exciting to watch our employees’ drive to help ensure these kids and their families have some extra cheer this holiday season," said Holly Faurot, chief sales officer at Paycom. "I’m proud to be part of the efforts to support The Anna’s House Foundation and the important work they carry out."
