Bartlesville Police arrest a man they say shot and killed two men inside a bar.

Police say Gregory Rogers drove to his girlfriend's house after the shooting, then went home to Tulsa and turned himself in at the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office today.

Police say when Rogers turned himself in, he had a gunshot wound to his arm and said he had been shot at the bar in Bartlesville.

Deputies quickly learned Rogers was the murder suspect and arrested him.

Bartlesville police say Rogers went to the Kickstand in Bartlesville Monday night and got into an argument with two men who worked there, Austin Standeford and Van Parson. They say the argument was about Rogers making moves on Standeford’s girlfriend.

Witnesses told police that’s when Rogers shot both men.

“We haven’t gotten definitive information on who had or didn’t have a gun. We are certain however that there was more than one gun inside that bar at the time of that shooting,” said Chief Tracy Roles.

The affidavit says Rogers left the bar and went to his girlfriend's house, told her, he got jumped, someone got shot and he had no other choice, but never said he was the person who fired the shots.

Chief Roles says they zeroed in on Rogers as their suspect after A hospital in Tulsa called, saying Rogers had come in with a gunshot wound but left before getting treated.

“The hospital staff contacted us at about two o'clock after he left. He wasn’t treated. He was waiting to be treated and for some reason decided to leave the hospital,” said Roles.

Investigators say Rogers's girlfriend told them she didn’t see a gunshot wound on Rogers’ arm after the shooting.

Police are trying to figure out if Rogers was shot at the bar, after he left the bar or if it was self-inflicted.

“We don’t know the status of that gun or guns, we don’t know if those guns were shown or not. But, We are fully confident that there was at least one other gun in that bar,” Said Roles.

Chief Roles says he’s thankful for the work by his detectives and help from Tulsa law enforcement to take Rogers into custody quickly.

“When it comes to critical incidents people close ranks and they work together. They provide resources and knowledge and people so that we can come to a strong conclusion,” said Roles.

Police are now waiting on surveillance video from inside the bar which they hope will give them answers about what really happened.
