Tulsa police are investigating after they say a woman was shot and killed near Pine and Peoria early on Wednesday morning.
According to police, it started just before 1 a.m. when officers received a "shots fired" call on East reading street.
Police say when they arrived on the scene, they found a woman lying beside a silver SUV that had crashed into a light pole.
TPD told News On 6 that they are unsure of who the victim or suspects are at this time.
Police say they found shell casings almost a block away from the victim's car and think the shots may have been fired about 50 yards from where the woman was.
PSO workers cut the line connected to the damaged light pole out of caution, but no homes are impacted by it.
Police say they currently have no leads on who the shooter is and are now working to piece the scene together.
