The Oklahoma Alliance for Animals is hosting a free vaccine clinic for dogs to help prevent the spread of two highly contagious diseases, distemper and parvovirus.
The OAA says cases of distemper have been found in dogs around the Tulsa community and an outbreak at the Tulsa Animal Shelter forced the doors to be closed early last month.

400 vaccines will be given out on a first-come, first-serve basis on Monday to help prevent further spread of distemper and parvo.
No personal or pet information will be collected.
Organizers say distemper is highly contagious and can be deadly for unvaccinated dogs and puppies.
They say all dogs, regardless of age, need to get the shot to prevent these diseases every year.
Monday's clinic is organized in a drive thru-style to help limit exposure between dogs and owners.
The clinic will take place at Chamberlain Park near East 46th Street North and MLK Boulevard from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Monday afternoon.
