Attorney Scott Adams’ yard on Deason Drive in Edmond, looks like Macys Thanksgiving Day parade turned Christmas

“I started out with one blowup and then two, and then it just kind of went from there, and I just kind of went out of control like I do on a lot of things,” said Adams.

His Christmas decorations started with the traditional Christmas lights, but that all changed.

“I started with the blowups about ten years ago the kids loved it and so I’ve just switched over to the blowups,” said Adams.

In fact, he has so many blowups, Adams isn’t sure how many he has.

“I don’t know how many. I know I’ve got a couple of big ones and those are the big problem with the wind here in Oklahoma, but other than that, I know I’ve got several,” said Adams.

And while he isn’t sure how many inflatables he has, he does have a favorite.

“My favorite one is probably the big Santa, and probably because I have more people come by and want to take photographs with Santa and get their family out there for Christmas photographs and stuff, and I enjoy watching people have fun and get into the Christmas spirit, so I’d have to say the big Santa,” said Adams.

The big Santa stands at thirty-three feet tall, just short of the big Rudolph.

“Rudolph is 34 feet, just a little bit taller, but I think that’s because of his antlers,” said Adams.

Adams is already looking forward to next year.

“I actually have a friend of mine whose found a bigger blowup that we’re going to order for next year, and I’ll leave that as a surprise for everyone to come by and see what that is,” said Adams.

The blowups can be seen every evening on Deason Drive in Edmond.

“If it’s windy we don’t put them up, but if it’s not windy we have them up generally from sundown to about ten o’clock at night,” said Adams.

It takes Adams about three days to get everything set up, and they all come down the day after Christmas.
