OSU Fans In Arizona Celebrate The New Year With Fiesta Bowl Appearance

Oklahoma State fans are getting ready for the Cowboys to take on Notre Dame in this year's Fiesta Bowl. 

The Oklahoma State Alumni Association says they know people are traveling here during the holiday, so they wanted to give them something to do. To ring in the new year in Arizona they are hosting a New Year's Eve event at the Andaz hotel in Scottsdale. 

Phoenix's alumni chapter is also hosting fans at Gallagher's Sports Bar tomorrow and OSU gear will be passed out from 1 to 3. Chase Carter with the Oklahoma State Alumni Association says fans are excited about this bowl game and they expect a big crowd. 

"Obviously excitement is very high with how the season went, we had an exceptional turnout for the big 12 Championship in Arlington, I know ticket sales have gone very well adn they still have a few tickets to sell but otherwise we are expecting a lot of fans out here in Phoenix," said Chase Carter with the Oklahoma State Alumni Association

Another event planned for the week through the Fiesta Bowl- a Rhino at the Phoenix Zoo will be predicting the winner of the game.
