Clear Skies, Freezing Temperatures Highlight First Weekend Of 2022

Most in central Oklahoma woke up to wind chill temperatures below zero thanks to an Arctic air invasion this morning.

Oklahoma City will see a high temperature near the freezing mark with plenty of sunny skies Sunday afternoon.

The Arctic air is expected to move out of Oklahoma to the north and east. We’ll be on the cool side Monday and Tuesday, but it won’t be as chilly as this weekend has been.

Another mass of Arctic air is likely to move through our area around Wednesday.
