A deadly wreck on I-35 near Goldsby killed one metro student and sent several others to the hospital Monday morning.
According to a GoFundMe page set up to support the victims, one of the teens has been released from the hospital and another one had a successful leg surgery and is expected to make a full recovery.
The van was on the last leg of a road trip back from a baseball tournament in Florida when the accident occurred.
According to the GoFundMe, the boys had won that tournament.
The car was holding five teammates of the travelling baseball team, all 17 or 18 years old.
The car was driven by 18-year-old Gabriel Williams.
According to reports, Williams may have begun to fall asleep.
"And it was a slowly departing roadway. Kind of looks like what you would see if somebody fell asleep. Departed the roadway and after departing the roadway steered really hard back," explained Trooper Foster.
The van rolled more than three times before coming to a stop upside down.
Williams was pinned in the vehicle and died at the scene.
Another victim, Jacob Wright, has a brain bleed and is on a ventilator right now.
His friends and family showed up outside of the hospital with signs to support the Putnam City High School Senior.
Three of the other teens, including Williams, were Seniors at Moore High school.
Jacob's aunt tells News 9 that he and the others in the car all want to be professional baseball players.
In a statement, Moore Public Schools said about the accident,
"Moore Public Schools was deeply saddened to learn today that three of our Moore High School seniors were involved in an early-morning vehicle accident that resulted in one death. Our hearts grieve with the family, and we surround them with our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
The incident did not happen on MPS property, during school hours, nor was it related to a school-sponsored event; however, we know that tragedies like this weigh heavy on the hearts and minds of our students, faculty and staff. We will have an increased level of counseling services available this week at MHS for students and staff as they process this loss."
