Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) Troopers have identified a driver killed in a crash along OK-69A in Ottawa County.
Troopers say the crash occurred around 5:17 p.m. on Thursday, December 30.
According to authorities, 72-year-old Albert Horton, of Sparta Wisconsin,
was driving southbound along OK-69A in a Mitsubishi Mirage when his vehicle was struck head-on by a Toyota Corolla that had driven left of center and entered the oncoming lane.
Troopers say Albert Horton was pronounced dead at the scene. The passenger in his vehicle, 74-Pamela Horton, was transported to a nearby hospital to be treated for injuries.
The driver of the Toyota was also taken to the hospital.
Troopers say the cause of the collision is now under investigation.
