Backup Quarterback Enters Cowboy Transfer Portal

While official word on a new defensive coordinator at OSU could come very soon, another Cowboy has entered the transfer portal. Backup quarterback Shane Illingworth is likely looking for a new place to play this season.

While official word on a new defensive coordinator at OSU could come very soon, another Cowboy has entered the transfer portal.

Backup quarterback Shane Illingworth is likely looking for a new place to play this season.

Illingworth played in 3 games starting the season opener against Missouri State with Spencer Sanders out.

With Sanders back next season and the offense still geared toward a quarterback who can run, Illingworth's decision isn't a huge surprise.

He's the 12th Cowboy to enter the portal.
