Tulsa Central Boys Basketball Becomes Top Team In The State

What a difference a year makes for Central's boys basketball team.

After struggling last season, The Braves are one of the top teams in the state, in class 4-a.

Senior Caylen Goff Brown leads the team in scoring. Head coach Aaron Daniels thinks his team has enough talent to grab Central's first gold ball since 2015.

"First thing we wanted to do is out-do the winning record from last year. So once we got our 5th win, we felt pretty good about that. And then the next goal was like, 'let's get to 10.' And then once we got to a double figure amount, 'let's work towards getting a 20 win team' and getting us a 20 win season.

And then in the back of our minds, we are looking at some of the best teams out there and we aren't that far off," said Aaron Daniels.
