The regular season is winding down for Central.
The focus has turned toward bringing home the school's first state title since 2015.
"You can think that you can all you want. When you have done it before, which I got to do it as a player, and I was very fortunate to be a part of that experience. The feeling of it being possible hits a little differently," said Aaron Daniels, Head Coach.
Goff-Brown has been the spark for the braves this year, after struggling to a 4-17 record last season.
His efforts are also spilling out into the class room, ranking first in all of Central's 86 seniors for GPA.
Goff-Brown's mother can sometimes put the full-court pressure on his academics.
"It's my mom. Like she is really on me. I'm just trying to make her proud. She works here as a matter of fact, she see I got a B. She is on me like B's, I can't have no B. I have to have all A's," said Caylen Goff Brown.
Goff-Brown already has several D-1 offers to play at the next level.
He's also focused on helping his teammates by spending extra time playing pick-up games in the gym to motivate the underclassmen.
"He is clutch in those moments. He has been carrying us for most of the time I've been here. He has had the team on his back," said Brenden Fortenberry.
Goff-Brown said it's all about the team and is giving his teammates all the credit.
"They have been able to get me open and them being as good as they are, teams have to focus on them so they take focus they have on me," said Caylen Goff-Brown.
