Oklahoma Caring Vans Give Out Vaccines For Kids Going Back To School

The Oklahoma Caring Van is making sure kids are vaccinated for the flu.

The van was at Whiteside Park on February 11, giving out flu and COVID vaccines.

Other vaccinations kids might need before going to school in the fall were given out as well.

"That is our mission to overcome some barriers that people can have like lack of insurance lack of transportation," said Fernando Guillen, Caring Van Specialist. "That's why we are here. We try to provide to those people having those issues.

The Caring Van will be at Kendall Whittier from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. on February 14.
