Oklahoma National Guard Recognized For Performance While Overseas

The Oklahoma Army National Guard is being recognized for its performance while deployed overseas.

The U.S. Army awarded the "Meritorious Unit Commendation" to 27 soldiers for their role in disrupting ISIS operations and liberating Mosul.

The Guard said this award is the equivalent to an individual soldier earning the "Legion of Merit."
