ODOT Reports Increase In Fatal Crashes Since Pandemic Began

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) says it has seen the number of fatal crashes rise since the start of the pandemic.

Numbers are up across the country, but Oklahoma's numbers are going up at a faster rate.

ODOT says about half of the crashes involve drivers who weren't using their seatbelts.

ODOT says Oklahoma ranks as one of the lowest in the nation for seatbelt use.
