Tulsa Police Confirm BB Gun Found On Schools Bus Carrying Students

The Tulsa Police Department has confirmed that the reported weapon found on a school bus was a BB gun.

According to police, the bus was carrying students from the Tulsa Honors Academy when a student reported the gun. The driver called the police to investigate. Police say no one was hurt but it's still unclear at this time if the BB gun was brought onto the bus by a student or left behind by someone else.

Tulsa Police say that even though it was only a BB gun, they want to commend the young student for stepping up and reporting it.
