A project on I-44 between the Broken Arrow Expressway and Sheridan Road starts soon. Starting Monday, April 4 crews will begin working on the two bridges over Sheridan Road.
ODOT said two lanes of traffic will be open in each direction during the project, but some overnight closures might bring that down to one lane.
They say this $2.6 million project is meant to extend the life of the bridges with work on things like joints and retaining walls. This project is scheduled to wrap up toward the end of this summer.
