Day three of the David Ware murder trial ended with a Tulsa County detention officer testifying that when David Ware was being booked at the jail, he was asked if he knew what he was there for and he said “murder.”

Detention officers told Ware he wasn’t charged with murder, he was charged with two counts of shooting with intent to kill. She testified Ware then said, “I’m pretty sure one of them is going to die. I shot them in the head. I shot them three times.”

Prosecutors also showed the jury the body camera videos from Officer Zarkeshan and Sgt. Johnson today. These videos show the entire traffic stop and shooting.

David Ware looked down in his lap most of the time during the videos and some of the jurors looked shocked and put their heads down after watching the video.

These videos show the officers spending several minutes asking Ware to get out of the car, then several minutes ordering Ware out of the car, threatening to tase him, then physically trying to pull Ware out of the car. Ware refuses the entire time.

Four Tulsa Police Homicide Detectives also testified today. One of them testified about finding the gun the getaway driver dumped near Haskell, another detective testified about arresting Ware and the two others had searched Ware's apartment and found ammo, drugs, surveillance systems and cash.

Officer Zarkeshan is expected to testify tomorrow and prosecutors say it’s possible they wrap up their case tomorrow evening.
