Police Make Arrest In Connection With Liquor Store Shooting

Oklahoma City police have made an arrest in connection with a shooting at a liquor store on May 25.

Oklahoma City police have made an arrest in connection with a shooting at a liquor store on May 25. 

Police arrested 27-year-old Marcus Buford on a warrant issued stemming from the shooting.

According to police, The shooting happened outside a busy strip mall. Those who witnessed or heard the shooting did everything they could to help the victim and police.  

“We had two different people call in at some point they were following the suspect vehicle, they seen it, and for safety reasons they decided to not continue that,” said Oklahoma City Police Lt. Isaac Goodman.  

According to witnesses the man seen being treated by emergency responders was shot in the head.  

“He was talking to officers at the scene, but he has substantial injuries,” said Goodman.  

Employees said the victim owns "The Well" liquor store. They said he was in the parking lot when he was ambushed by a man with a gun.
