OKLAHOMA COUNTY, Oklahoma -

The Oklahoma County Election Board will recount votes in the very close primary race for the Republican nomination for the county's district attorney race.

Candidate Kevin Calvey is well ahead of his nearest opponent Gayland Gieger.

Calvey is, however, just 30 votes short of the threshold needed to avoid a runoff election.
