1 Dead, Police Looking For Suspect Following Homicide In SE OKC

Authorities are looking for a suspect in connection to a homicide that happened on July 1 in southeast Oklahoma City, according to Oklahoma City Police.

At around 4 a.m., officers were called to the Plaza Inn near South Prospect Avenue and Southeast 29th Street.

Police said when they arrived on the scene they found a male that had sustained severe head trauma.

The victim, Jesus Diaz-Aguirre, 43, was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition, according to OCPD.

Police said they were notified on July 12 that the victim was taken off of life support and died.

The investigation is ongoing, and no suspects have been arrested, according to police.
