A trio of pursuit suspects attempted to outrun Oklahoma City police officers early Thursday morning.
A juvenile suspect was arrested after the car he was in crashed in a neighborhood on the southeast side of the city. Police said the teenager’s two accomplices got away.
A boom around 2 a.m. woke up a resident across the street from where the short pursuit came to an end. The noise the woman heard was the suspect's car hitting a curb near the corner of Southeast 46th Street and Madera Boulevard.

“That time of the morning there are no cars out or few cars, not much traffic,” Oklahoma City Police Department Master Sergeant Gary Knight said. “So there was really minimal chance of someone that wasn’t directly involved in the pursuit being hurt.”
Police said three suspects bailed from their car and took off in different directions.
News 9 was there when officers and a K9 found a teenager hiding in bushes. Police did not release his name but said he was involved in the pursuit that started a few blocks from where they crashed.
Air One and drones searched for the outstanding suspects by air while officers on the ground searched through the neighborhood. Officers at the scene reported seeing one of the suspects with a gun. Police officials said it was unknown what happened to the weapon.
“Somebody had a gun involved,” said Knight. “I don’t know if we recovered it or if they found the guy with it.”
