Innovative Teacher: Ramona Roberts

“News On 6 is teaming up with Every Kid Counts Oklahoma to recognize innovative teachers from across Green Country. This week, we’re recognizing Ramona Roberts, a high school teacher at Jenks High School.

Ramona provides many resources for her students and parents. She works with her students on developing skills that they will need post high school no matter what route they are taking.

She has assisted students in getting basic needed items. She has developed a thrift store at JHS that her students work at to gain employment skills. 

She attends extracurricular events. She coaches cheer. Her heart for her students with special needs is never ending.

She has even accompanied some students to formal events. She has a servants heart! She has been teaching 26 years and still loves her job.
