Authorities have identified and charged the driver accused of killing an ORU men's soccer player in a crash in September.

Nicholas Robinson was charged with second degree felony murder, DUI, speeding and failure to stop at a red light, according to authorities.

Tulsa Police said the crash killed Eugene Quaynor, who played soccer at ORU.

The crash happened on Sept. 28 around 10:30 p.m. near 71st and Yale. Police say Quaynor was stopped at a red light when Robinson allegedly slammed into the back of Quaynor's car.

When authorities arrived to the scene, it was fully engulfed in flames with Quaynor pinned inside.

Witnesses say Robinson sped off after the crash, hitting a concrete wall and ending up in a strip mall parking lot.
