Former Fairview Police Chief Returning To Oklahoma To Face Charges

The former police chief of Fairview has waived extradition from Ohio to face charges in Major County.

Dan Smith will accompany a Sheriff’s Office deputy back to Oklahoma to face charges stemming from the illegal sale of two transformers obtained through embezzlement from the city of Fairview.

A former Fairview city council member was also charged.
