Cyclist Injured, Taken To Hospital After Being Hit By Vehicle

A bicyclist that police say was hit by a vehicle Sunday evening has been taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The Village Police Department responded to the crash at the intersection of North May and West Hefner where a truck collided with a bicyclist.

Lt. Green with Village PD said the cyclist wore a reflective jacket but had on no protective equipment and the truck driver is cooperating with authorities.

Police didn't say how fast the car was going before the crash or release any names involved.
