OU Partners With Hospitals To Combat Nursing Shortage

Beginning this Fall, six undergrads studying nursing at the University of Science and Arts will be guaranteed admission to The University of Oklahoma. The same goes for students at Murray State College.

Beginning this Fall, six undergrads studying nursing at the University of Science and Arts will be guaranteed admission to The University of Oklahoma. The same goes for students at Murray State College.

"This EDUCATION WILL TAKE PLACE IN DUNCAN AT THEIR HOSPITAL AND AT CAMERON AND LAWTON AT THOSE SITES."

"This education will take place in Duncan at their hospital and at Cameron and Lawton at those sites," said OU President Joseph Harroz.

University officials hope this partnership will ease the shortage of nurses, mainly in rural Oklahoma.
