Animal Cruelty Case Opened In Wagoner County After 2 Dogs Found Shot, Killed

Wagoner County investigators are investigating a case of animal cruelty involving the shooting deaths of two dogs.

The owner of the dogs was home when she heard gunshots, stepped outside and found them dead in her backyard, according to investigators.

Wagoner County Sheriff Chris Elliott is hoping to make an arrest and said "This is a sickening, cowardice act perpetuated by an evil individual."
