1 Injured In Downtown OKC Shooting; Suspect In Custody

One person was injured in a shooting Friday afternoon in downtown Oklahoma City, according to Oklahoma City Police.

Police said the shooting happened at around 4 p.m. near Shartel Avenue and Robert S Kerr Avenue.

A man, who is experiencing homelessness, was shot and walked to the Oklahoma City Police Department Headquarters to get help, police said.

The victim was transported to the hospital and is expected to by okay, according to police.

Police said one person is in custody in connection to this incident.
