2 Accused Of Leading Authorities On Chase In Lincoln County Arrested

Two men are in custody on Sunday morning accused of leading authorities on an early-morning chase in Lincoln County.

According to police, it started after officers attempted to stop a vehicle for two minor traffic violations around 1:24 a.m. along East Highway 66, near County Line Road. Police say the chase started when the driver crashed through a fence in Lincoln County and both suspects fled from the vehicle on foot.

Officers called neighboring agencies to assist in the search. Authorities say a firearm, ammunition and body armor were found in the suspect's vehicle and another firearm was found hidden under a tree nearby.

Police say one of the suspects was eventually caught along East Highway 66, west of 3310 Road, the second suspect was later found hiding in a tree.

Police identified the two suspects as Shaimon Bruzewski, who was allegedly the driver of the vehicle, and Colton Caldwell, who was allegedly the passenger in the vehicle. Both suspects were taken into custody.
