Norman Man Charged With Killing Of Woman Found At Lake Thunderbird

The Cleveland County District Attorney has formally charged a man arrested in connection with the murder of a woman whose body was found at Lake Thunderbird.

Cleveland County DA Greg Mashburn has charged Austin Blake Godwin with first-degree murder and the unlawful removal of a dead body.

Court documents said Godwin admitted he strangled Charissia Bell to death at his apartment and placed her body inside a tote and left it at Lake Thunderbird.
